Children are a Blessing

Before taking a mini-family vacation to celebrate the 4th of July, I had the pleasure of photographing one of the most beautiful families I have ever seen. It's a level of beauty that goes beyond the skin barrier. These parents' love for their son could be seen and heard from miles away. With every camera shot, I was reminded of why I love my stepsons so much. This family's infectious laughter made them a joy to shoot...and the radiant sun and comfortable temps didn't hurt either. Here are a few sneak peeks, especially of their precious son, of that day.

...well...at least Orion's eyes are. Don't they just pierce your heart?

New Banner

Now that I've taken a look back, I realized that I didn't like my logo and banner anymore. It was almost to the point of becoming an eye sore for me. So...I played around a little bit...and...VOILA!!...and I think I like it.

It's been almost a year since I last updated this blog. I put it on hold while I focused more on my writing, which is going quite well. I have some time on my hands again, so I want to jumpstart this passion of mine for photography. I have taken many, MANY pics lately, but I need to upload them. I'll be back later this week w/ my latest work, and hopefully, you all will think that my skills have improved. :)
